From early education to teen development, the Y offers programs for children to learn, grown and thrive.
In early education, children learn and grow through creative curriculum and exceptional care. Once in our school age programs, they get the support they need inside and outside of the classroom, make friends and become future leaders.
Inclusion Support at the YMCA
Children of all abilities explore, try new things, build skills and make friends in our program. Our highly trained Inclusion Specialists foster a proactive environment where children can successfully navigate their environment, daily schedule and peer interactions. Inclusion Specialists work with families and share ideas to develop strategies tailored to each child to support their social, emotional and physical development.

Kid’s Club Babysitting:
Kids’ Club drop-in babysitting is FREE to everyone holding a Family Membership. Children age 6 weeks to 8 years are welcome while parents are in the Y facility. Your child’s safety is our top priority. All our Kids’ Club staff are thoroughly screened and certified in CPR and First Aid.Â
We are honored that our Y was recognized as a Praesidium Accredited Organization—one of the nation’s most prestigious certifications in the prevention of child sexual abuse. Our organization is one of only 44 YMCA associations out of the nearly 800 throughout the country to earn this accreditation. This accomplishment would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our childcare and front-line staff as well as the leadership of our Vice President of Risk Management. We are grateful for our entire childcare staff who work passionately each day to enrich children’s lives and keep them safe.

For School Administrators:
With decades of experience, our 7 YMCA locations partner with dozens of elementary schools to provide quality before and afterschool child care during the school year. Children can apply what they are learning in school in a fun environment while they engage with friends and explore. Our highly trained and qualified staff members remain committed to supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of the children in the 25 cities and towns we service.
